Refund policy

Last updated August 31, 2026. Checkout is processed by Paddle, the merchant of record. Refunds follow Paddle’s policy.

You purchase The Minute Book from Paddle, not from us directly. Paddle is the authorised reseller and merchant of record. All payments, invoices, and refunds are handled by Paddle under the Paddle Refund Policy and the Paddle Buyer Terms. If this page and Paddle’s policy differ, Paddle’s policy applies. If local consumer law gives you stronger rights, those rights apply.

The rule

Unless required by applicable law, transactions are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. Paddle may issue a refund at its discretion, or if you have a statutory withdrawal or refund right. Refunds are not issued where there is evidence of fraud, refund abuse, or other manipulative behaviour.

This does not affect your rights if the product is not as described, faulty, or not fit for purpose.

Statutory withdrawal (where it applies)

In some countries, consumers have a short, unconditional right to withdraw and receive a full refund. Paddle applies that right as set out in its refund policy, including:

  • EU, EEA, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Turkey, and Israel: 14 days from the transaction
  • South Korea, Brazil, China, and Canada: 7 days from the transaction
  • Singapore: 5 days from the transaction

For digital content, that right does not apply once you have started to download, stream, or otherwise use the product, if you gave express consent at checkout to receive it immediately and to waive withdrawal.

The Minute Book is a digital download delivered immediately after payment.

Discretionary refunds

Paddle may, at its sole discretion, issue a refund if you ask within 14 days of the transaction. Asking within 14 days does not guarantee a refund. Requests are reviewed case by case. Paddle may approve a full refund, a partial refund, or decline the request.

If the files will not open or are not as described

Contact us first by replying to your Paddle receipt. If the issue cannot be resolved, contact Paddle. Where there is evidence of a material defect, Paddle will refund in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws. If you receive a refund, access to the files ends.

How to request a refund

Contact Paddle:

  • use “View receipt” in your confirmation email, or
  • visit paddle.net and choose “Request refund.”

If eligible, refunds go to the original payment method where possible, within 14 days of approval. Please contact Paddle before disputing the charge with your bank or card issuer. A chargeback may suspend access while it is reviewed. That does not take away rights you have under card-scheme or consumer-protection rules.

Contact

Refunds and payments: paddle.net or the link in your Paddle receipt. Questions about the files: reply to that same receipt.
