Privacy policy

The Minute Book is operated by Mary’s Math Tutoring, Inc., an Iowa corporation (“we,” “us”). This policy covers this website and emails about your order. It does not cover ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, or any other AI tool you may paste notes into — those have their own policies.

What we collect on this website

This is a static site. We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not run a member login. We do not intentionally collect names, addresses, or card numbers on these pages.

The host (for example Netlify) may log standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, to operate and secure the site. We do not sell that information.

What Paddle collects when you buy

Checkout is Paddle, the merchant of record. Paddle collects what it needs to take payment, calculate tax, send a receipt, deliver the download, and prevent fraud — typically name, email, billing country, and payment details. We do not see your full card number.

Paddle’s use of that information is described in Paddle’s privacy policy. Paddle may send us your email and order details so we can answer a support question or send the files if delivery fails.

How we use order information

If we receive your email from Paddle, we use it only to fulfill the order, answer a question about the kit, or handle a refund or replacement as described in our refund policy. We do not sell, rent, or share it for advertising.

Cookies

These pages do not set marketing cookies. Paddle’s checkout may use cookies required to complete payment and prevent fraud.

AI how-to

If you use file 09, you paste your own meeting notes into a third-party AI service. We do not receive those notes. Do not paste information you are not allowed to share (for example sealed executive-session material, medical details, or anything your documents require to stay confidential).

Retention

Paddle keeps payment records as required for tax and card rules. We keep support emails only as long as needed to resolve the request and keep a record of the order.

Your choices

To access, correct, or delete order data we hold, reply to your Paddle receipt. For payment data held only by Paddle, contact Paddle. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under US state or international privacy law; we will honor requests the law requires.

Children

The kit is for adult volunteer board members. We do not knowingly sell to children under 16.
